Job Overview

The Applications Development Group Manager is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology Team. The overall objective of this role is to drive applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:

Manage multiple teams of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions)Product mindset required to develop reusable and highly scalable componentsGood understanding of Cloud platforms and rapid development leveraging Copilot required.Developing enterprise ready mission critical system experience required.Utilize in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issuesEnsure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standardsIntegrate in-depth knowledge of applications development with overall technology function to achieve established goalsProvide evaluative judgement based on analysis of facts in complicated, unique, and dynamic situations including drawing from internal and external sourcesAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

10+ years of relevant experienceExceptional skills in UI development with experience in Angular/React JS frameworks.Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Qlik will be requiredAdditional Mobile platform development experience would be advantageousExperience in applications development in User Interfaces,Working knowledge of industry practices and standardsProven track record demonstrating collaboration with  analysts and developersAble to provide a metrics and business intelligence reports.Strong knowledge of Angular JS, React JS and Java Full stackStrong experience in BI reporting tools like Tableau, Qlik senseHigh standards in project work and interpersonal skillsMust have handled large teams, and critical applications and met tight deadlines. Financial market domain experience is a huge plusStrong leadership experience including the motivation, growth, and excellent communication skills.

$156,160.00 - $234,240.00
