Digital screens such as Touch displays, Driver Information screen and HUD (Head Up Displays) into our Ford/Lincoln vehicles are becoming more and more relevant due the need to provide valuable information and enjoyable driving experiences to users while driving. The increasing need of safety and vehicle communication with driver make the Human Machine Interaction (HMI) a relevant area for our company to be competitive in the automotive world. New content and Driver Assistance features are constantly being created challenging our team to bring in new technologies and develop the best interface/interaction.
As UI Architect Designer you will collaborate with a global and cross functional team by discussing and defining the best digital displays graphics solution for the assigned project to meet the customer’s expectations while providing a simple and intuitive interaction to the vehicle in support to implementation with suppliers and internal Ford teams.
What you'll need…
Strong english skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening)Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Automotive Systems Design or Human Machine Interface. Former UX / UI / Interaction Designer or other digital design related background preferred.+3 years of experience working with a design team developing creative visual and interactive design solutions for consumer electronics, mobile devices, automotive or other related domains.+2 years of experience in Product Development area taking design concepts to production and product development timelines Knowledge in HMI Subsystems, UX (User Experience), UI (User Interface) Proficient with Adobe SC Suite, Figma & Microsoft Office.
