Description Job Responsibilities: • Design and package 3D wiring harness models for major OEM • Act as a liaison between the Delphi Packard and the OEM • Provide design expertise on wiring harnesses and connection system designs • Insure sound engineering practices, lessons learned and best practices are executed in designs • Provide robust design direction while proactively supporting customer product development meetings • Provide effective use of design tools in NX • Proactively engage with other engineering groups • Ability to work without direct supervision • Understanding of OEM timing. There will be a need to do some “self-training” when software is updated • Working knowledge of Team Center • Ability to work with the customers design teams on site (this is a team activity) • Proactively engage with other engineering groups • Ability to work without direct supervision • Understanding of OEM timing. Meet timing deadlines Nice to Haves: • Wiring design experience on an OEM platform • Understanding of "Routing Electrical" tool kit in NX • Associates Degree Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00/hr.
