Job Title Twisting Operator - Weekend Nights Position Overview Position Objective: To operate the Twisters in the Twisting Department. Essential Duties (considering job knowledge, job environment, effort, manipulative skill, judgment, safety knowledge, and responsibility): 1. Comply with procedures found in job requirement book. 2. Perform all job duties using safe work methods. 3. Comply with Corporate Absenteeism and Tardiness Policy. 4. Work normally scheduled days adhering to starting and stopping times. Work overtime as required. 5. Comply with all environmental procedures and programs. 6. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. 7. Be in break room ten (10) minutes before your scheduled shift for shift meeting. 8. Inspect packages for defects. 9. Doff twisted packages. 10. Doffing procedure for three-ply product. 11. Troubleshooting checklist. 12. Packout procedure for non-heatset yarn. 13. Creeling procedure. 14. Repairing ends down. 15. Housekeeping. 16. Perform yarn changes. 17. Quality patrols. 18. Maintaining yarn tension. 19. Making a tail. 20. Repair ticket procedure. 21. Waste prevention procedure. 22. Yarn inspection procedure.
