The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Gathering all relevant data from the areas, subject matter experts, and stakeholders.Creation of Data Structures and Databases and constant improvement and simplification of these resources.Contribute to project budgets by providing detailed cost breakdowns and collaborating with Outage manager. Creation of Standard Communication Documents for the Organization.Analyzing data using standard formulas and software (SAP).Working with stakeholder team to understand individual concerns.Strong background in invoice validation, cost estimating & financial analysis.Identify and assess potential risks that may impact project costs.Presenting solutions to leaders (using data analysis to justify recommendations).Conferring with area leaders to ensure that everyone understands directives.Performing limited Administrative Assistant activities for the maintenance and operating teams.Required Qualifications and Characteristics:
High School Diploma or equivalent.3 years’ experience in estimating/cost control for industrial or specialty chemical.Demonstrated competency in data analysis.Excellent math and technical skills.Demonstrated Problem Solving skills.Proficiency with common analyst software (include MS Office Suite).Intermediate to Advance Excel and PowerPoint Skills.Proficient in use of SAP or strongly related software. Expertise in developing budgets, managing purchase orders, and tracking against budgets.Ability to work independently while at the same time work effectively in a collaborative structure with personnel throughout every level of the company.Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, with the ability to multi-task and manage details.Outstanding thoroughness, attention to detail, and accuracy in work product.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications and Characteristics:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or business.Strong samples of financial and trend analysis reports.Demonstrated Problem Solving skills.Comfortable giving formal presentations.
