Job Description

Onin Staffing is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tumbler & Degreaser to join an exceptional union team that manufactures washers, stampings, spacers, and shims. This role involves operating machinery, performing cleaning processes, and ensuring parts meet quality specifications. Ideal candidates will have mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn and improve processes.

This position will train on 1st shift (7am - 3:30pm) for 3-4 months, then move to 2nd shift (3:30pm - 12am)

Operate equipment to perform timely tumbling, degreasing, de-slugging, and cleaning of parts per specifications.Maintain and clean equipment, tanks, and solutions; perform basic maintenance such as lubrication.Follow established tumbling procedures and actively suggest process improvements.Monitor and manage inventory of supplies, notifying the supervisor when restocking is needed.Prioritize and process multiple jobs efficiently according to due dates and dispatch reports.Perform other duties as assigned, including end of shift cleaning.

Work Experience
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and routers.Prior experience with general machine operationProficient in basic shop math and the use of handheld measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.Understanding of tolerancesCapable of lifting up to 50 pounds.Upon completion of contract, employee will be responsible for having their own tools
