TSSCI Cybersecurity Strategist & Technical Analyst
Job Description An employer is looking for TSSCI Cybersecurity Strategist & Technical Analyst to sit at Fort Meade. This candidate will play a critical role in supporting the command’s cybersecurity posture through both hands-on technical expertise and strategic planning. You’ll work across multiple concurrent projects, contributing to the development and implementation of innovative security solutions aligned with national and command-level objectives. This role demands a proactive learner who thrives in dynamic environments and can translate complex cybersecurity concepts into actionable strategies. Day-to-Day Responsibilities  • Support multiple cybersecurity initiatives simultaneously, adapting quickly to shifting priorities and emerging threats.  • Conduct technical assessments of network environments, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending mitigation strategies.  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security architectures and cloud security models.  • Translate national-level cybersecurity policies into operational plans and guidance.  • Participate in the development of strategic cybersecurity policies and contribute to planning exercises that validate procedures.  • Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Stay current with evolving threat landscapes, frameworks (e.g., NIST, MITRE ATT&CK), and compliance regulations Compensation: $65/hr to $78/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements Active TSSCI IAT Level II Bachelors and 4-12 YOE in a technical role. Experience can be used in lieu of a degree Broad understanding of Cybersecurity and DoD Operations. Strong technical foundation in:Network security, Vulnerability management, Cloud computing models, and Security architecture Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, MITRE ATT&CK) and compliance regulations (e.g., FedRAMP, DFARS). Experience influencing policy decisions in collaboration with senior leadership. Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and threats. Experience developing strategic cybersecurity plans and policies. Background in planning and conducting cybersecurity exercises.
