Your role involves direct customer engagement to analyze needs and develop solutions, while coordinating with engineering departments to optimize requirements and prototype development. You'll be responsible for managing product lifecycle costs, implementing strategic improvement processes, and ensuring maintenance capabilities of new products, all while serving as the technical authority for safety concerns and critical customer issues that require escalation to management.
