Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct TSCM, Foreign Visit, Gift Inspection, Digital Counterexploitation, Technical Evaluation activities and other technical operations supporting the customer’s TSCM program, TSSC modernization goals, and Office of Counterintelligence Technical CI DivisionMaintain familiarization with all governing national and agency level policies, ensuring compliance with all facets of reporting and training requirements as well as all other regulatory guidelinesFamiliarity with current TSCM and CI policyConduct TSCM operations directly supporting the design, construction and accreditation of customer’s facility project in North St Louis, MOProvide recommendations and guidance for customer’s construction projectProvide technical advice and assistance related to customer’s construction projectPrepare specialized technical risk assessment products, TSCM reports of inquiry, tailored briefings and administrative communication necessary to support customer’s construction projectAssist CTTA with technical security plans, policy and execution assessing customer’s construction projectConduct TSCM operations consistent with National and DoD policies governing the employment of TSCM tactics, techniques, and proceduresEnsure customer compliance with ICD 705, Physical Security Standards for SCIFs, and DoD standards for collateral areas. Identify physical and acoustical security deficiencies and develop corrective actions to mitigate the identified deficienciesAnalyze complex physical and technical security issues and provide cost-effective recommendations that meet policy requirementsProvide recommendations and guidance for facilities under constructionPrepare specialized technical risk assessment products, TSCM reports of inquiry, after action reports, tailored briefings, and other administrative communication necessary to support the CI missionProvide technical advice and assistance as it relates to CI and TSCMGenerate finished correspondence, documents, briefing materials, spread sheets and threat reports in accordance with customer guidelines, as requiredAssist Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority (CTTA) with technical security plans, policy and execution; assess electronic processing equipment for security vulnerabilitiesPrepare after action report for all external engagements to include, but not limited to, conferences, equipment demonstrations, external learning events, national and DoD level meetings, et cetera within 72 hours of completion.Prepare an after-action report and briefing as required within five work days after completion of any national or DoD level exercise participationPerform Radio Frequency (RF) signal of interest searchesAssess and locate signals of interest discovered during surveys, system notification and IPMS operationsAssist implementation of TSSC Technician OJT program preparing technicians for success through training and hands on experience

Skills and Experience:

Required

5+ years of related experiencePossess an Interagency Training Center (ITC) TSCM CertificationComplete at least 40 hours of discipline-specific development or refresher training every fiscal year. The training delivery may include classroom, on-line, or commercially-available training, or exercise. The customer will sponsor Government-offered, discipline-specific development or refresher training IAW National and DoD standardsMeet minimum training requirements, within one calendar year of assignment, for access to DoD networks in accordance with DoDM 8140.03, by attaining and maintaining at least baseline certification for DoDM 8140.03 Information Assurance Technician Level II compliance

Desired

Experience writing and editing of technical documentsTelephone security experience (i.e., with Telephone Security Group (TSG) requirements)Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical disciplinePossess post-graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical disciplineBe a credentialed graduate of an accredited federal or DoD CI training academy (ex. FBI Academy, etc.)
