We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Trust Relationship Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

Serving a portfolio of North Asia UHNW client relationshipsManaging trust relationships with trust structures, including the management of underlying assets such as real estate and investment portfolioManaging and maintaining contact with trust parties to ensure that the structures are still valid and current and appropriate in relation to change of circumstances and restructuring if requiredHandling distribution requirementsAbility to identify new business opportunities from existing client structures, such as opportunities for philanthropy, governance, liquidity planning and probate and cross selling opportunities for Private Banking, Commercial Banking, Wealth and Premier Banking divisions, involving respective specialists at appropriate timesEnsuring client satisfactionEnsuring continued compliance with all relevant policies and procedures and regulatory requirementsEnsuring proper due diligence is conducted on existing client, and adhering to internal policies and any regulations giving full consideration to reputational and fiduciary risks of HSBC, when managing and restructuring the trusts, including identifying associated risks such as tax, legal and reportingAdhering to proper pricing guidelines, and client take on procedures, and comply with all relevant policies and regulations. Comply with all cross-border guidelinesSupport teamwork through working with other team members, across Trust Relationship Managers platform and other HSBC departments

Requirements

Degree holder in accountancy, legal, tax or related disciplineCPA / Legal / STEP qualification preferredDeep knowledge and experience in trust administration and / or advising on trust and wealth solutions for UHNW clients. People management experience is desirableClient focused, with strong sales, analytic, technical, teamwork and relationship building skillsExperience in investment, portfolio management, brokerage and institutional sales usefulExtensive knowledge of private banking business onshore and offshore, and competitive and regulatory environmentStrong negotiation, complex problems resolution, communication and presentation written and oral skillsSound judgment, keen sense of urgency, and high level of professional and personal integrityOverseas travelling is required on need basisFluent written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
