What is the opportunity?As a Trust Administrator, Indigenous Wealth, you will help administer a portfolio of Indigenous Trusts, working with each community to help them achieve their goals. You will work closely with Associate Trust Officers, Trust Advisors, the Associate Director, as well as a team of trust administrators, and will act as a liaison between the First Nation, investment Consultants, Investment Managers and Auditors in order to ensure seamless service to the Nation. You will manage and develop strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, professional advisors, and varying centers of influence.

What will you do?
Assist Officers in all administrative functionsEnsure all account information on internal systems is up-to-date, complete, and accurateMaintain all written, verbal, and electronic communication as required with internal and external contacts as well as with clientsInvestigate all inquiries and administrative errors and refer more complex issues to the Senior OfficerUnderstand and follow all RBC processes and policies as requiredPromptly respond to client calls in the absence of the Officer or Senior Officer, addressing client inquiries in a professional mannerWhat do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Minimum of one year of experience in the financial services industryPost-secondary educationIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skillsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal with sensitive and difficult client situations in a professional mannerStrong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and solid follow-through capabilitiesStrong teamwork and relationship building skills as success in this role is dependent on working in cooperation with othersNice-to-have
Successful completion of STEP Canada’s Foundations of Estate and Trust Administration course (CETA1), or willingness to complete within 6-12 months of employmentSuccessful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC)What’s in it for you?

The expected salary range for this position is $41,000 - $60,000.
