About the Team

Virtus from FIS is a leading provider of alternative investment services and technology solutions, specializing in delivering comprehensive front, middle, and back-office services to asset managers, banks, and other institutional investors. Virtus helps its clients manage their alternative investment portfolios, including CLO/CDOs, private equity, hedge funds, and other alternative assets.

The Structured CLO/CDO team specializes in collateral administration, delivering services such as cash and data reconciliation, portfolio compliance testing, and payment calculation.

What You Will Be Doing

As Trust Administrator II, you will be responsible for reconciling and maintaining client data as well as reviewing monthly and quarterly financial reports.

Provide administrative support to assigned Trust Account Manager(s) in managing structured finance accountsMaintain ongoing communication with financial partners and trust clients to ensure high levels of client satisfactionExecute daily account operations, including:Posting incoming receiptsProcessing trade orders and check/wire requestsManaging cash movements for distributionsResponding to account inquiriesSubmitting ACH transfer instructionsOpening and closing accountsInvestigate and resolve account discrepancies through detailed research and analysisReconcile cash flows, account balances, and data sets; calculate and validate fee-sharing dataOversee the use and maintenance of systems supporting corporate trust account managementMaintain accurate and comprehensive documentation for both current and historical account monitoring

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experienceTypically, at least 2 years of professional financial services industry experienceHigh level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPS) and working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeFamiliarity with calculating financial reconciliationsAbility to multi-task and interact well with team members and trust account managers

Added Bonus If You Have

Trust system experience (CDO Suite, Solvas, etc.)Understanding of syndicated loans, CLO/CDOs, or corporate trust securities
