Truck to Truck Supervisor
**Summary** **Responsible for day-to-day planning, transfer, coordination, and execution of proper paperwork for Truck-to-Truck (TTT) drum management.** **Virtual interviews. Pay range $25-28 hr. Hours would be 0600 – 1730** **Skills and Abilities** + **Knowledge of DOT and manifest regulations** + **Proficiency in Windows-based applications** + **Strong organizational and communication skills** + **Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently** **Physical Requirements** + **Lifting/Carrying: Frequent lifting/carrying of 0-25 lbs. Occasionally up to 50 lbs** + **Standing/Walking: Frequently standing (4-6 hours/day), walking (4-6 hours/day)** + **Other Physical Demands: Requires color determination, lifting, pulling, pushing, climbing, grasping, and reaching** + **Eyesight: Good near and far visual acuity; color vision required for safety** + **Hearing: Ability to communicate effectively and tolerate loud environments** **Supervisory Responsibility** + **Supervises Truck to Truck Technician** + **Responsible for decision-making in areas such as training, performance appraisals, and corrective action** **Responsibilities** + **Monitor deadlines and compliance** : Ensure that all key deadlines are met and proper follow-up is implemented for drum transfer compliance with ten (10) day compliance periods. + **Communication with management** : Communicate with management on issues related to compliance, Department of Transportation (DOT), and other issues impacting the business and compliance. + **Coordinate with logistics** : Collaborate with Corporate and Local Logistics on inbound/outbound carrier issues and equipment needs (vans, box trucks, etc.). + **Maintain TTT transfer systems** : Keep systems such as Microsoft Outlook, Power Suite, and Truck to Truck logs updated accurately and timely. + **Handle drum rejection issues** : Work closely with the facility on issues regarding drum rejection or compliance issues concerning deadlines. + **Report facility issues** : Report any issues at the hub facility, such as leaks or releases, to the Health & Safety Manager or Compliance Manager immediately. + **Ensure proper DOT exemptions** : Utilize proper DOT exemptions for TTT containers prior to departure from the facility. + **Forklift operation** : Offload, palletize, and reload material using a forklift. + **Secure containers** : Inspect and secure containers being loaded on outbound trailers. **Qualifications** + **Education and Experience** + **Required** : High School or equivalent + **Experience** : 3 to 5 years in a related field Clean Harbors is an equal opportunity employer.
