JOB DESCRIPTION
Research common maintenance/mechanical issues and develop new repair methods for trucks in the U-Haul fleet that effectively address these issues. Identify areas where a new or different part is needed to improve the longevity of the vehicle and/or component. Communicate the problem and solution in written form, video and live demonstration.
3-5 years automotive service, repair and diagnostics experience
Identify best practices for diagnostic/repair processes
Basic understanding of electronic/electrical circuit operation
Perform vehicle repair and maintenance work to meet factory standards
Experience in diagnosing computer-controlled drive train components
The ability to detect potential problems with current products and those under development or consideration.
Acute attention to detail
Ability to communicate, motivate and organize projects
Oral communication skills
Must be flexible and have a positive attitude
