Truck Platform Program Management Analyst

The Global Program Management mission is to deliver great global product programs that support the business plan's financials, quality, and win in the marketplace. This exciting, high-visibility position will support the delivery of the Truck Platform.  The Truck Platform team not only executes critical UNVx-to-TDC workstreams for T3 vehicle programs but is also engaged in detailed technical strategy and planning while driving platform scale and efficiency.

This position provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to multiple current and forward model T3 programs. Program Management teams are responsible for managing the milestones and deliverables to take vehicles from the concept phase to production. PM workstreams, including Truck Platform PM, are grouped into four technical pillars:

(1) Program Planning – can include technical planning & strategy, cross-truck program feature execution, establishing platform attribute efficiencies, and scale & complexity 

(2) Program Control – can include managing UNVx/platform timing, program health reports, decision approval forums, platform steering team meetings, and sourcing (part and tool orders)

(3) Program Studio – can include supporting the appearance approval forum for the Truck platform / shared technologies

(4) Program Launch – can include managing change management, launch issue resolution at the assembly plant, the prototype build process, and the plant vehicle team process

You'll Have…

Bachelor's degree  5+ years of experience in at least one of the following: program planning, program management, D&R Engineering, vehicle architecture, and/or vehicle engineering 3+ years of experience across the total program life cycle Demonstrated ability to lead and work in a team

What You'll Do…

The Truck Platform PM position will involve a number of the following workstreams:

Define and Manage Platform Toolkit  Lead ABC/Chessboard development Technical interface with suppliers/supply chain and Engineering to implement Platform Sourcing Strategy Establish attribute bandwidth efficiencies  Interact with product development engineering across all vehicle systems from the component level to fully integrated in-vehicle systems Manage pre-production vehicle builds from end to end, including technical, cost, and feasibility issue resolution Determine fit-for-test criteria, and develop and coordinate test scheduling/allocation for the prototype Organize new program launch activities & track key program metrics Identify major program issues, including technical compatibility and help needed, and take actions to resolve them Manage and maintain program sharing sites & program communications Organize product technical reviews, ranging from planning to studio/appearance Deliver technical product assumption changes via the change control process Resolve cross-functional cost, quality, and timing conflicts and drive consensus Drive part, quality, and warranty cost reductions through component, vehicle benchmarking, and analysis of dealership vehicle repair processes
