Join a dynamic concrete cutting company seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to work on heavy-duty service trucks. The role involves performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a range of fleet vehicles, including a variety of fleet trucks and equipment ranging from diesel pickups, water trucks, and transport trucks to small engine equipment includes concrete cutting flat, ride-it, ring, and hand saws, and coring drills. light-duty trucks to semi-trucks. The mechanic will handle day-to-day breakdowns, scheduled maintenance, complete service record paperwork, order parts, and update maintenance systems.

ResponsibilitiesAddress day-to-day breakdowns as well as scheduled preventative maintenance for all vehicles and equipmentDiagnose and troubleshoot, repair and maintain various mechanical, hydraulic, & electrical equipment, power units, generators, and small equip repairs, including all vehicle issuesAbility to travel and respond to field needs as and when needed (some nights and weekends)Perform multi-point vehicle inspections including DOTsMaintain a clean work area for safety and efficiencyTimely completion of work orders with accuracy and detailResearch and order parts, maintaining an inventory to complete work timely

Essential Skills8+ years of experience working on trucks5 years of heavy truck repair & maintenance experience5 years of small engine trouble shooting and repair experienceExperience with Ford 6.7L power stroke engine is highly desiredMust have own tools to use in the shopMust pass pre-employment drug screen, have a valid driver’s license, & a good driving recordCommercial driver’s license preferredAbility to gain and maintain special clearance to sensitive work sites (military bases & airports)Ability to lift 75 lbs. or more on occasionMust have a clean driving recordAbility to maintain data entry and schedules on a PC/tabletWilling to submit to a pre-employment drug and ba ckground check

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $43.00/hr.
