Truck Mechanic

$22/hr DOE

Mon -Fri  7a-3:30p

If you have mechanical aptitude and welding experience, this is the job for you! We are searching for a full time experienced truck mechanic. Work for a company that has over 50+ years and leads the industry in Dump Body, Hoist and Platform manufacturers.

Responsibilities:

Perform work as outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately with limited supervision. Perform inspections, diagnosis and repair of brake and suspension systems. Train on alignments and frame straightening. Utilize hand tools, portable power tools, cranes, and hoists as needed. Test drive trucks. Follow all safety regulations. Attend DOT training classes as required.

Requirements:

Mechanical aptitude Welding experience Valid driver's license Able to stand the majority of the day Requires lifting up to 70 pounds Excellent problem solving skills, able to read and comprehend instructions in English, ability to communicate orally and in writing in English with customers and co-workers
