Employment Type: Full-TimePosition Overview:We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to support our operations in Peru, IL. This is a local driving position with daily home time, ideal for a driver who enjoys a mix of driving, hands-on work, and customer interaction.Key ResponsibilitiesComplete 4–8 short-haul trips daily (approx. 1 mile each) to a primary customer in Peru, ILOccasionally handle one-off shipments to other customer locationsUnload trailers at the customer site independentlyTake inventory multiple times per week and report findings to the plantOperate a Chevy pickup truck with a gooseneck trailer (over 10,000 lbs)Obtain customer-specific training and certification as requiredQualificationsValid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)Clean driving record and strong safety mindsetAbility to lift, move, and unload freight as neededComfortable with inventory tracking and basic reportingWillingness to complete customer-specific training and certificationOne Year of Verifiable Driving ExperienceHourly Pay Rate: $26.00 dependent on experience**pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living Bonus/Incentive Pay: Incentive pay may be available for certain job roles and may include piece rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, trip rates, and employee referral bonuses. A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.
