**DESCRIPTION** **You will make an impact in the following ways:** + Oversee diagnostics and complex repairs + Maintain productive customer relations and ensures prompt and efficient attention to customer needs to minimize customer product downtime + Coaches on preventative maintenance and/or repairs completed by more experienced technicians; provide work direction to others; review repair plans, parts and tool lists, etc + Escalate unresolved issues to product specialists / engineering teams + Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens. + Identify additional sales and service opportunities with customer + Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation + Adheres to and ensures adherence of technicians to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their manager **RESPONSIBILITIES** **To be successful in this role you will need the following:** + Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Cert III) or equivalent (required) + Advanced level of workshop or field service experience (required) + Advanced level knowledge of and experience with engine products (required) + HR License (preferred) + Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred) + Cummins Experience (preferred) + _Must be certified to work in NSW_ **QUALIFICATIONS** **Compensation and Benefits:** + Competitive hourly + shift allowance rate paid as a permanent salary + Overtime penalties for all work above standard + Monday to Friday 38-hour work week + Participation in an annual variable compensation (bonus) program + Income Protection continuance insurance + Discounts with select private health insurance + PC software/hardware and a range of vehicles + Annual remuneration reviews + Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms provided + Range of personal and professional benefits **Additional Information** + Full Time / 38 hours per week + Afternoon Shift (13:54 – 22:00) + Overtime as required – Penalty rates paid for all work above 38 hours + All your Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms are provided and laundered + Domestic Relocation may be offered for the right candidate + Local Valid Drivers License (Preferred) **_At Cummins, we are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to diversity in the workplace.
