You’ll make an impact by:
Troubleshooting & Diagnosis: Analyze and troubleshoot PCBA failures, identifying root causes at the component level. Testing & Debugging: Perform diagnostic tests and debug PCBAs using electronic equipment to find faults and defects. Repair & Rework: Replace defective components (e.g., resistors, capacitors, ICs) using soldering and desoldering tools and rework PCBAs to fix manufacturing defects. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed troubleshooting records and prepare technical reports and failure analysis summaries for internal teams and customers. Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Conduct RCA for field-returned modules and implement corrective actions to improve product reliability. Collaboration: Work with design, quality assurance, and production teams to improve product quality and resolve recurring failures. Technical Support: Provide technical support and consultation to customers for technical issues related to PCBAs. Process Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance troubleshooting efficiency and product reliability. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure troubleshooting equipment and tools are maintained and calibrated for accurate results.
You’ll win us over by:
• A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, or a related field is often required. • 4+ years of experience in PCB repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting. • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for electronics. • Proficiency with tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering • equipment. • Ability to read and understand electronic schematics, circuit diagrams, and component datasheets. • Knowledge on Printed Circuit boards handling • Knowledge of EEPROM & EPROM programing / JTAG programming • Knowledge on System integration Testing and Bench Testing • Know to read the PCB circuit drawing and understanding the function 6. • Know to check the Electronic components in the PCBA’s • Identify & Trouble shooting of PCBA’s for the defective components • Co-ordinate with project / site / AMC engineers / EMS company for rectification of PCBA’s • Knowledge to prepare the Fault Analysis Report & maintaining of service cards / materials Data base • Know basic ISO 9001: 2015 quality concepts & 5s concepts
