Triple Offset Valve Product Engineer

If this sounds like you, your next role is here! The Triple Offset Valve Product Engineer role is positioned in the TOV SBU and reports directly to the global TOV product engineering leader. The TOV product engineer will be responsible for selecting or crafting ETO Bill of materials and design for Vanessa valves to be manufactured in Reno, making sure accurate ETO components are ordered, modifying drawings if needed, support local manufacturing with sustaining engineering, and be the focal point to grant consistency of product characteristics, CTQ requirements. The Product Engineer In addition, will ensure Engineering policies and procedures, global TOV PLM system are accurately adopted in the creation and management of all products including design records, CAD files, BOM data.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

In line with SBU engineering rules and procedures and relevant DOA

Prepare and Issue customer order engineering documentation Be the local focal point for the management of customer comments on technical documentation and management of changes Be the local focal point for ETO variants evaluation during bidding process, be part of local ETO board Assists with technical clarification of suppliers for critical components design and manufacturing Assist local operations with suppliers quality claims and resolutions, and other local engineering sustaining needs Participate to post order contract review, be the local owner of the engineering side of contractual requirements Plan engineering activities based on order execution priorities

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical or related engineering  At least 10 years’ experience in creation and management of CAD and associated documents for mechanical parts Extensive experience in product design  Sound skills in product data management system and other software related to management of documents and users in a PLM environment, experience in SAP is nice to have Advanced skills in use of Creo CAD software Sound working knowledge of CAD/Drafting standards and use of numerical computation tools used in tolerance analyses Experience in ETO order execution including ETO BOM and Drawings management Ability and motivated in working in cross functional environments Accurate and disciplined  Self-motivated and able to prioritize work and stay focused on overall objectives Ability to time-manage self to meet project schedule milestones Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Solid skills in product data management system and other software related to management of documents and users in a PLM environment like Windchill Solid experience in planning ETO Engineering activities, starting from contractual requirements through planning tools like Primavera Solid experience in maintaining high levels of OTD and Productivity metrics/KPIs on projects; keeping updated dashboards for weekly reporting to leadership At ease working in a project wise matrix Engineering organization, with constant alignment with Engineering leadership and related governance Experience using Creo CAD software Solid understanding of CAD/Drafting standards and use of numerical computation tools used in tolerance analyses
