Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic and Holy Cross Health is seeking a dynamic Nurse Educator to lead the educational strategy for our FirstChoice Mobile Resource Program. In this key role, you will design, implement, and evaluate educational initiatives that support the professional development and clinical competency of our FirstChoice nurses. Working collaboratively with the FIrstChoice Program Manager, you’ll play a critical role in delivering exceptional relationship-based care through innovative, adult-centered learning strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive education plan for the FirstChoice Program.
Collaborate with FirstChoice Manager to support site-specific learning needs and program implementation.
Design and facilitate orientation, preceptor training, mandatory education, and continuing education initiatives.
Create a safe and supportive learning environment using adult learning principles
Mentor and serve as a resource to clinical educators and leaders across the system
Utilize effective evaluation tools to measure learning outcomes and program effectiveness
Lead change and quality improvement initiatives aligned with contemporary healthcare practices
Maintain strong professional relationships and effectively resolve conflict
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and ethical standards
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required
Active RN license required
Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience
At least 1 year in a formal Nurse Educator role
Experience designing training curriculum and facilitating education for diverse learners
Skilled in instructional design, learning evaluation, and adult learning principles
Strong organizational and communication skills
Collaborative leadership style with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
Ability to travel up to 15% to Trinity Health sites as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nursing or Education
Experience supporting a travel nurse program or system-wide education initiatives
