Weyerhaeuser is seeking a Trim Saw Operator for its Natchitoches Engineered Wood Products (EWP) manufacturing facility located in Natchitoches, LA. This hourly position within Microlam Products and will be responsible for operating and monitoring a 2' trim saw, which is used to cut boards into lengths ranging from 4 feet to 38 feet. The wage for this role $21.86 per hour. *KEY FUNCTIONS:* * Refer to the run sheet to set up backstop for the appropriate length of cut. * Send wood down the line for stacking and wrapping after wood is cut. * Inspect wood visually and pull out and reject if defects are found. * Utilize the automatic chains to move boards off of line. * Remove trim tails from the back of the trim saw and place into dumpster. * Stay in close communication with other members of the Microlam Products team. * Cleanup activities as necessary. * Other duties as assigned.
