We are seeking a passionate and experienced Tribe Lead for Business Tools & Inventory to lead a team of approximately 90 associates. This key leadership role is responsible for driving the commercial success and strategic implementation of essential business tools, including Planisware, METIS, and Valuemation, ensuring alignment with overall business strategies and fostering a culture of innovation and high performance within the Tribe.

Your Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight for the Business Tools & Inventory Tribe, encompassing 7 Squads, a Customer Loyalty Team, a Lean Operation Team, and selected Chapters. Develop and implement the Tribe's strategic vision, setting and achieving ambitious OKRs with a strong focus on delivery.

Performance Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of 90 associates, fostering a culture of professional excellence, innovation, and accountability. This includes disciplinary responsibilities. Model transparent and independent decision-making in your own work and cultivate these qualities within the teams.

External Service Provider Steering: Establish and manage a local External Service Provider setup to support the scalable delivery and further development in close collaboration with the other tribes of the Alliance. Ensure effective onboarding, integration, governance, and performance monitoring of the provider, aligning service delivery with strategic business and technology goals.

Stakeholder Management: Represent the Tribe in key steering meetings (e.g., ABR/QBR), effectively communicating the Tribe’s vision and progress to internal and external stakeholders. Build and maintain strong relationships with Alliances, customers, and partners.

·       Innovation & Technology: Champion the exploration and implementation of innovative technologies, such as AI/GenAI, to enhance organizational efficiency and drive digital transformation within PA-SM India. Support the competence development of team members in these areas. Additionally, provide disciplinary leadership and guidance to the India-based ServiceNow product and program team, staying ahead of the curve by engaging with upcoming ServiceNow topics and translating that knowledge into targeted upskilling and growth opportunities.

Agile Transformation: Embrace and embody agile principles, acting as a role model and promoting cross-functional collaboration to break down silos and optimize workflows.

Resource Management: Oversee product, resource, and financial management for the Tribe, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve strategic objectives. Manage the strategic tool portfolio, including Planisware (BGSW and BD), METIS, Valuemation, and others, assuring alignment with PA-SM Alliance and BD strategies.

Your Profile:

Education: Completed university studies in Computer Science or a comparable field.

Experience: Extensive professional leadership experience in the IT or Software industry, with a strong focus on both technology and business. Proven track record of:

§  Leading and developing teams in an agile environment.

§  Driving change management initiatives.

§  Creating business value through understanding customer needs and implementing relevant IT solutions.

§  Managing customer relations and projects within an Enterprise IT Products and Services environment.

§  Developing and implementing mid- to long-term strategic visions.

§  Engaging in senior executive-level stakeholder management.

Skills:

Strong customer focus.

Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.

Passion for technology and networking.

Proven ability to lead and motivate in a non-hierarchical manner.

Results-oriented mindset with a focus on maximizing business value.

Effective prioritization skills in resource-constrained environments.

Languages: Business fluent in written and spoken English. German is a plus.
