Travel Oncology RN – Rapid Assessment | Palo Alto, CA
Start Date: Late July/Early August 2025 | 13-Week Contract

We are seeking an experienced Oncology RN for a travel assignment in Palo Alto, California, supporting the Oncology Rapid Assessment Center (ORAC) within the Admin Cancer Center. This role is ideal for a nurse with strong triage skills and a background in both inpatient and outpatient oncology care.

Position Highlights:

Location: Palo Alto, CA Start Window: July–August 2025 Unit: Admin Cancer Center – ITA (ORAC) Contract Length: 13 weeks, with potential for extension Schedule: 4x10s (40 hours/week) Shift: Day shift EMR: EPIC

Required Qualifications:

Active CA RN License Minimum 3 years of Oncology RN experience ONS certification required Strong triage experience, especially in rapid assessment settings BLS and ACLS – American Heart Association EPIC experience Previous travel RN experience preferred BSN or higher preferred

This role involves assessing and managing oncology patients in a fast-paced triage environment, collaborating with providers to determine appropriate care pathways, and supporting both urgent and routine oncology needs.
