Treaty Technical Accounting - Analyst/Senior Analyst

What can you expect?

Lead client and reinsurer communications to resolve complex questions, secure agreements, and ensure timely statements are sent out to cedants and markets.

Strive to meet Key Performance Indicators (KIPs) and system tools to manage transactional processes, meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and deliver compliant, efficient service.

Support broking team on Client Support Services (CSS) SLAs.

Check that Statement of Accounts (SOAs) are processed on a timely basis and remind cedant to submit SOAs, ensuring all contractual and warranty conditions are met.

Support reinsurance audits and reviews, reconcile premiums processed in system with cedant SOAs, and ensure process quality.

Build strong relationships with Brokers, Clients, and Markets to resolve issues and improve practices.

We will rely on you to:

Enter contractual info for premium invoicing.

Review and process technical statements and billing.

Address queries from clients, reinsurers, and related parties.

Assist with technical accounting resolutions.

Ensure procedures and documentation are in compliance with Guy Carpenter Professional Standards

Support setup of run-off treaties and other duties as assigned.

What you need to have: 

Proven experience in Treaty technical accounts.

Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.

Prior reinsurance industry experience, especially in Treaty Reinsurance, is highly desirable.
