Primary DetailsTime Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeThe purpose of this role is to provide support and assistance in regional cash management and daily operations of the Pacific Treasury function, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with regulations. This role involves monitoring bank account activity, tracking cash transactions, and processing Treasury settlements, payments, and reporting to maintain banking services and ensure monetary resource availability for organisational objectives.
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with legislation, industry codes, company policies, and procedures.Maintain efficient relationships with Treasury relevant stakeholders and Global Treasury team.Ensure successful settlement of foreign exchange deals, money market deals, and interest rate swaps.Process Treasury payments accurately and within relevant cut-off times.Daily cash flow management and liquidity management to fund Treasury transactions.Timely investigation and resolution of failed settlements and discrepancies with counterparties.Assist in maintaining reconciliation of Treasury cash flows and bank account balances.Assist in providing treasury information to senior management and prepare board reports.Contribute to the refinement of processes and procedures to improve systems.Assist with maintaining Treasury documentation, liaising with banks, and supporting risk management initiatives.Work Experience:
Necessary Work Experience includes:
Some relevant work experience.Preferred Work Experience includes:
Experience in business treasury function, risk management, or internal audit.Insurance background.Experience in a Treasury department of a similar size and geographically spread.Comfort with treasury management systems.Qualifications:
Necessary Qualifications include:
Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.Skills:
