Treasury Funding Manager - 12 months maternity cover

We are looking for a Treasury Funding Manager to join our Group Treasury team in Dublin on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work within a high-profile, international treasury function, managing internal and external financing operations for a global organisation.

Main Responsibilities 

Financing

Implementation, follow up and renegotiation of bank borrowingsBond issuanceCommercial papers issuance, management of programmesM&A financing schemesImplementation of securization programmes (clients, suppliers)Tax impacts analysisFollow up of bank relationship and bank meetingsRating agencies: preparation of annual reviews, anticipation on potential issues and their impact, anticipation of financial impact of specific operations on group ratiosAssessment of credit rating of internal subsidiaries

Treasury

Monitoring of short-term treasury forecast and of the international cash pooling, optimization of financial incomeManagement of rate and exchange hedgingReview of subsidiaries financing needs, proposals on their cash flow, follow up of their treasury forecast and improvement proposals

Reporting & IFRS

Validation and follow up of the consolidated financial result, identification of accurate performance indicators, implementation of opportunities identified on the quarterly reviewsCalculation of the gross and net debt and of the blended cost of debtHedge accounting testing and analysis Contact with auditors to explain IFRS impacts of financing operations 

Management & Organisation

Proposal, negotiation and deployment of group programmes (e.g. cash pooling, supplier chain financing)Relationship internally with Regional CFO’s, European Treasury Centre, Group Tax, Consolidation, FP&A, M&A, Legal and IR departments

 The Ideal Candidate 

Extensive professional experience in Corporate Treasury, particularly with a strong and demonstrated experience in Debt Capital Markets Treasury/Hedge Accounting experience desirable but not essentialInternationally minded with good cross-cultural skillsAbility to work with autonomy and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong (internal) customer focus and stakeholder managementDiplomatic and dynamic attitudeDiscretion and reliability (confidential information to be dealt with)Analysis and synthesis skillsStrong focus on best practice procedures and controlsStrong communication skills both written and oralIFRS skillsTechnical knowledge of financial systems is a plusDegree in business, finance or economicsProfessional qualification advantageous (ACT, ACA, ACCA, etc)
