Treasury Functional System Analyst (f/m/d)

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.



Your tasks and responsibilities:

As a Treasury Systems Functional Analyst (m/f/d), you will work closely with Treasury business experts to gather process requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications, supporting their implementation within the Treasury Management System (TMS) in coordination with IT teams.You are responsible for the accurate representation of Treasury and connected core business processes in the TMS.You support operational activities and continuous system optimization.You coordinate new TMS-releases.You coordinate and support test management activities with interfaces to e.g. IT, external service providers, and business stakeholders to ensure quality and timely delivery.You collaborate with business departments to drive process optimization and automation. In doing so, you independently develop concepts and initiate system improvements — including, if necessary, the introduction of new financial instruments.You analyse system requirements and monitor market trends to help maintain a future-ready, state-of-the-art Treasury environment, embracing technological openness and continuous improvement.You manage user access, maintain static data, and oversee change and incident management in close collaboration with IT, external service providers, and business partners.

Your qualifications and experience:

You have successfully completed a degree in Business Informatics, Finance / Economics / Business Administration (with IT exposure) or any other degree with a focus on Finance, IT Management, or Treasury.Additionally, you bring several years of professional experience supporting Treasury Management Systems or finance departments of financial service providers, ideally complemented by responsible roles in IT projects.You have a strong understanding of processes in the areas of Treasury and Finance, along with a solid grasp of digitalization topics to support automation and perform data-driven analysis.You possess experience and knowledge in the architecture of Treasury Management Systems (e.g., ITS, FIS) and you can communicate fluently in IT terminology.You embrace digitalization and you are able to identify process improvements and develop optimal solutions that may require changes to system architecture, software, or business workflows.We also welcome candidates with a bachelor's degree or with completed vocational training and further education, provided they have additional relevant work experience.

As you act as the central interface between IT and business, developing solutions together, efficient coordination and communication with internal and external stakeholders are key to success in this role. You offer relevant strengths in this area.You work confidently in an international environment and regularly communicate in English with your colleagues and stakeholders, some of whom are English-speaking only. Knowledge of German is helpful but not required; however, it can facilitate collaboration with local partners.You have a structured and solution-oriented approach to work and make confident decisions – even in complex coordination processes involving IT, business departments, and external service providers.You communicate clearly and reliably with internal stakeholders and ensure transparency regarding requirements, releases, and testing activities.You work independently, identify optimization opportunities in treasury processes, and actively drive their implementation.You are part of a collaborative team of system function analysts who support each other and step in as needed — teamwork and initiative come naturally to you.
