Area:

At BASF, our Finance Order-to-Cash (F-O2C) team is essential to ensuring efficiency and reliability in the financial management of our operations in the Americas. From our Hub in Montevideo, we cover the processes from the moment of sale to the moment of customer payment, and we are responsible for key areas such as treasury and cash management, accounts receivable, collections management, credit management, intercompany reconciliation, and master data for customers and suppliers. Our goal is to maintain strong and agile processes, minimize financial and operational risks, and promote continuous innovation through the digitalization and automation of tasks.

 

Main Objective of the Position:

Provide the necessary support (execution, information) in relation to Treasury transactions, payments, sending proof of payments and bank information to the areas that require it

 

Main Tasks:

Execution of manual Payments for all America’s region according to the Guidelines of the company.Follow the manual Payments that were executed by the team in the systems or/and the bank portal.Bank access administration and user auditsAssist teams that require information on payments or banks, sending poof of payments, searching for payments on the bank portal, analyzing transactions.Execute, filling and analysis of the footnotes to the financial statements quarterly, Bilanz and annual for companies B,C,D and E.Participation in Small Projects.Asist in the analysis, and preparation of external Audit requirements, internal Audit, and implementation of changes to improve process efficiency.

 

Minimum Education and Qualification Requirements for the Position:

Education | Advanced student or graduate of Accountant or Business Administration, Finance or similarWork Experience | More than 2 years of professional experience in finance or similar.Languages | Advanced level of English; proficiency in Portuguese is highly valued. Technical Skills | Knowledge in SAP will be highly valued, as well as advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Soft Skills | Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, effective communication, teamwork, proactivity, and adaptability. Able to navigate dynamic environments with flexibility.
