About the Team 

PwC Treasury Advisory team is #1 treasury advisory team on the Czech market, with over 25 team members. We assist clients with all aspects of their treasury areas, such as financial risk management, defining and executing hedging strategies, providing valuation and accounting advice for complex treasury transactions. Also, cash and liquidity management is a current hot topic. And last but not least, selection and implementation of treasury management systems is a big and complex topic for our clients, and this will be a wide area of focus for the Treasury advisory lead. The candidate will be responsible for identifying all these opportunities with our clients and working with them to scope how PwC team can support with these areas.

The execution and delivery of the projects will be covered by our existing team members.  

Job description & Summary

PwC Treasury team is a leading treasury advisory team on the Czech market. We are looking for a Treasury Advisory leader. This is a senior position, and the candidate will be responsible for leading the treasury advisory services towards our Czech clients. 

While creating the strategic approach towards to the potential key accounts, the Treasury Advisory Lead will maintain the contacts with the key clients, identify the opportunities by clients in the domain of the treasury with the particular regard of the treasury management systems design and implementation and develop the opportunities towards to the consultancy projects of the treasury advisory. Also, he/she will be responsible for defining our strategy regarding external communication, our external events with the clients and our ongoing presence on the market.  

The ideal candidate should have an advisory or consultancy background (Big4 or banking environment is advantage) with a deeper understanding of the treasury and accounting field or finance. 

Key Responsibilities

Lead the local treasury advisory team and provide with the strategic approach of the leadership towards to the Czech treasury market. Business development of the key accounts in the field of the treasury. 

Collaborate with our clients to identify and solve their treasury-related challenges. Identification of the business opportunities and developing of the treasury advisory projects. 

Identify opportunities with our clients for selection and implementation of treasury management systems and other treasury technologies.  

Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to ensure clients are well-informed and compliant. 

Define our strategy regarding external communication, brand defining events with our clients and ongoing PwC treasury advisory present on the market.  

Requirements of the role 

Demonstrated experience in the consultancy or advisory area with the focus on the treasury/ accounting and finance.  

Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and understanding of financial markets and instruments. 

Technical Skills: High level understanding of treasury function and treasury management systems. Implementing a treasury management system is a plus. 

Client Knowledge: In-depth knowledge about clients' needs in the treasury area. 

Diverse Experience: Experience from different businesses is a plus. 

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 

Strong leadership and team management abilities. 

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. 

Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. 

High level of integrity and professionalism. 

Fluency in Czech and English language
