Treasury Administrator

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Treasury Team at Marsh Captive Solutions.

Marsh Captive Solutions is the world’s largest captive manager. Our clients come to us for a one-stop approach to innovative captive solutions, including advice, implementation, management, and actuarial services. We have more than 500 colleagues managing more than 1,550 captives globally across 55 domiciles. 

This role can be based in Dublin, Ireland or Douglas, Isle of Man. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

This is an excellent opportunity to a join a team covering two Marsh captive domiciles – Ireland and Isle of Man-  where you will thrive on working in a fast-paced environment and utilising your exceptional communication skills. The team is responsible for day-to-day operations of the Treasury function of Ireland & IOM clients, with a particular focus on cash management including effecting payments and receipt administration in line with timeframes set within the function. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, impeccable attention to detail and be quick to pick up new systems.

We will rely on you to:

Process all wire transfer payments in accordance with MMC treasury policies and procedures & within deadlines as appropriateManage and prioritise workload daily to meet deadlines and targets and maintain quality of service to Marsh and its clientsGenerate daily transaction reports via various on-line banking systemsReconcile cash flow movements based on the daily reports, identifying and rectifying discrepancies and ensuring good value on receipt and payment of fundsRecord cash movements on in-house cash management system (GCMS)Placement, renewal & processing of fixed term deposits & other client financial assets Assist in the subscription & redemption of investments Liaise with banks, investment managers & other financial institutionsLiaise with member of the internal client servicing team Distribute statements/confirmations to appropriate client team members Investigate queries from client teamsMaintain, review & update bank account mandates & online banking platforms Assist in the implementation of best practises/controls across all treasury functions   Proactively handle tasks in line with specific client requirements, departmental procedures and scope of role / limits of authority

What you will need to have:

Previous back office/cash management experience in a finance function or an InsurerHigh level of accuracy/attention to detailExcellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads and work to tight deadlinesExcellent communication and numerical skills and proven track record to provide a high level of customer serviceAbility to work within a team environment as a team playerA high degree of flexibility in approach to workProficiency in Excel and Word.

A degree or equivalent level of education in Business Studies or a related discipline (desirable)Strong knowledge of cash management processes and / or experience using online banking platforms
