Traveling Superintendent - Civil/Marine
ResponsibilitiesSupervise foremen assigned to as a liaison between field engineering, estimating, and crafts to ensure compliance of construction with drawings and specificationsWork in partnership with project managers, engineers, and crews to create detailed plans for operations on siteAssist the project management team in tracking and managing costsSupervise the operation and upkeep of equipment, ensuring it remains in excellent working condition and complies with all safety regulations.Manage subcontractor relationships, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and safety agreements are metEstablish quality control standards and supervise their implementationKeep accurate field notes and produce daily reportsEnsures compliance with firm’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct.Track and evaluate JSA’s (Job Safety Analysis) and other Site-Specific Safety DocumentationEssential SkillsMinimum of 10 years of construction experience.Experience in heavy civil construction or marine construction.Hands-on field experience in a specific construction discipline such as marine construction, structures, heavy lifts, or concrete.Work Environment

Main office in the Eastern United States is in Jacksonville, FL. Projects tend to be in the Gulf and East Coast region, but can range from Brownsville, Texas to Baltimore, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $190000.00/yr.

Excellent benefits, fully compensated for time on the road, 401k match, bonus each year, as well as ESOP so stock payouts.
