Traveling Project Manager
Job Title: Project Manager

Job Description

Join a dynamic team responsible for overseeing start-up activities and finalization work toward the launch of grocery components in specific types of buildings. This role involves implementing grocery operations post-launch and managing retrofit projects for existing buildings. The position requires close collaboration with third-party vendors to ensure successful project completion.

ResponsibilitiesMonitor the main vendor responsible for installing racking and coordinate with teams for taping, hanging signs, and other tasks to ensure a finished product before handing it over to operations.Manage and track 100-200 tasks using an established playbook, ensuring other teams stay on track.Utilize Fieldwire to monitor vendor tasks, assess completion through pictures, and ensure compliance with standards.Communicate with vendors, troubleshoot delays, and ensure work meets quality standards and deliveries are timely.Essential SkillsProven experience in project management and construction management.Proficiency in using Asana for project tracking and management.Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and troubleshoot issues.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with grocery program implementation.Willingness to travel 50-75%, primarily regionally.Work Environment

This is a fast-paced, high-standard environment with a focus on virtual teamwork and collaboration with vendors and operations. The role involves significant travel, especially during site launches, which can require onsite presence for up to a few weeks. The work is mainly heads-down with some vendor interaction and collaboration with operational leaders to maintain strong relationships.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
