Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a **Registered Nurse** to work at a Correctional Institution in **Smithfield, North Carolina.** These are _registry_ positions with our company.
40hrs Travel Package
Weekly Gross Pay = $1040
Local Hourly Rate (Taxable) = $26
Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed- goes to the net pay = $1246 (Hotel-770 Meals-476)
Total Weekly ($1246 is not taxed)= $2286
Feels like per hour = $57.15
$2286 div 40 hours = $57.15
**Job Details:**
+ Evenings
+ Days
+ Either 5/8 hr shifts or 4/10 hr shifts every other weekend
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ **Minimum one year (12 months) of experience as a Registered Nurse.**
+ A valid and current RN license issued by the state of **North Carolina.**
+ A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
+ Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients. RN must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written English.
+ **Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away**
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Provide professional nursing care/treatment to patients in accordance with medical protocols, written policies and procedures, and the NC Board of Nursing scope of practice.
+ Conduct sick call/assessment
+ Assisting the physician.
+ Carrying out orders, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care.
+ Respond to medical emergencies.
+ Monitor patients for communicable diseases
+ Counsels for compliance with diet, medications, and treatment.
+ Respond to inquiries, medical appointments, orders medications and supplies and additional nursing care duties, as required.
