Overview

Performs laboratory tests; interprets results; documents and reports results. Maintains department equipment, instruments, and tools.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical or biological science or Medical Laboratory Science ORAssociates degree in medical technology

Certification/Licensure

AMT Medical Technologist (MT/MLT) or ASCP Technologist (MLS)

Experience

Previous blood bank experience (preferred)

Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
