**Be the voice of support and advocacy for those in need and make a difference where it matters!** **Now Hiring:** Full-Time Licensed Social Worker **Location:** Palo Alto, CA **Schedule:** 23 weeks, Day Shift, 40 hours **Key responsibilities:** + Develops and implements patient management plans, including the coordination of referrals to specialty and social services + Manages assigned caseload. Prepares and maintains records and makes written and oral reports to document case activity concerning patient care, counseling and therapeutic activities in accordance with department, hospital, medical center and/or health system policies + Provides supportive counseling, grief counseling, crisis intervention and other appropriate therapeutic services to assist patients and families in coping with presenting symptoms and problems **Qualifications:** + Minimum 2 years’ experience, working in a trauma center or ICU is preferred + Active LCSW – Licensed Medical Social Worker - in CA + AHA BLS certification required + Master’s degree in social work from an accredited college required + Ability to manage a caseload, recall case details; maintain confidentiality of information + Ability to provide written case narratives and reports + Knowledge of hospital and medical center resources to access and provide for patient care needs **Pay Breakdown:** + $720 per week (taxable) + $1,470 per diem (non-taxable) **Pay Details:** $2,190.00 per week Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
