ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain 5-Axis CNC machines, specifically vertical milling machines.Perform complex blueprint interpretations to ensure precise machining of components.Utilize machine controls such as Fanuc or Heidenhain for efficient operation.Program or edit G-Code to achieve desired machining outcomes.Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain high-quality standards.Work with various materials including alloys, stainless steel, titanium, and plastics.Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience performing setups and/or operating Makino T1.Ability to machine titanium.Machining for the Aerospace, Military, and Defense industries.Education or training in CNC machining.Work Environment
Our facility operates on 5 10-hour shifts. We have openings for 1st Shift (6am - 4:30pm) and 2nd Shift (4:30pm - 2:30am). Overtime is currently about 10 hours a week. The work environment is climate-controlled, with around 100 CNC machines across three facilities. We are ITAR compliant and maintain an open-door policy, encouraging employees to engage and ask questions across departments.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
