Job Description
We are seeking experienced CMT professionals, Special Inspectors, and Geotechnical Inspectors for various projects across the Southeast. Opportunities are available for Tech II and Tech III positions, focusing on testing, analysis, and quality control of materials.
ResponsibilitiesPerform grain size analysis testing for soils.Conduct Atterberg Limit testing.Execute moisture-density testing.Carry out ASTM and NCDOT hydrometer tests.Perform laboratory resistivity testing.Conduct grain size analysis for aggregates.Measure specific gravity of fine and coarse aggregates.Perform dry rodded unit weight tests.Test compressive and flexural strength of concrete cylinders, beams, and cubes.Produce laboratory trial batches and test fresh unit weight and air content.Observe batch plant operations.Perform burn and gradation analysis for hot mix asphalt (HMA).Execute maximum theoretical testing (Rice method).Conduct specific gravity testing.Test absorption and compressive strength of masonry blocks.Essential Skills2-3+ years of experience in materials inspections.Proficiency in ACI and ICC certifications.Additional Skills & QualificationsPreferred experience with materials inspections, ACI, ICC, NICET.Skills in soils, concrete, and masonry testing.Work Environment
The position involves working both in the field and laboratory settings, using a variety of testing equipment. You will be part of a recognized team in the Raleigh market, known for excellence in Geotechnical and CMT services.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
