**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Day Shift **Description:** JOB SUMMARY Builds trays for West Campus and Willows; drives van to same areas in a timely manner determined by nursing from MercyOne Medical Center – North Iowa Nutrition Services, to deliver trays. Records and monitors daily temperatures of the fridges at West Campus. Delivers breakfast, lunch, and dinner meal trays to West Campus and lunch for Willows. Maintains open communication with nurses and patients and refers issues or concerns to the appropriate Supervisor. Maintains Nutrition Services transporter vehicle by keeping clean and reporting any vehicle maintenance, including when at a quarter tank of gas. Gets floor stock counts at West campus in the am and delivers during the lunch meal service. Sanitize food carts at the end of each day, unless visibly soiled. Maintains required department confidentiality and abides by HIPPA regulations. Provides competent patient care to the above indicated patient populations by obtaining two patient identifiers before serving every patient their meal.. Takes an active role in enhancing ability to carry out job functions through personal and professional/job-related growth and development, and participates in medical center and/or departmental education programs. Communicates with and performs duties following the philosophy of MercyOne Medical Center – North Iowa and the Sisters of Mercy reflecting the organization’s Mission, Values, and Guiding Behaviors. Supports and abides by all medical center, departmental, and safety policies and procedures. Proactively identifies safety concerns surrounding the work environment. Performs other duties, including but not limited to pots and pans washing, as requested by supervisor, manager or department head.
