More than 2,500 team members at more than 70 Tidelands Health locations bring our healing mission to life each day. **A Brief Overview** The Radiology Transport is consistently thorough to verify patient identification, verify all transport information on the patient's order, transport patients in a timely manner as requested, utilizes all safety equipment to secure the patient, and explain the transport process to the patient and/or family member to facilitate cooperation and alleviate patient and/or family anxiety. The Radiology Transport Aide consistently demonstrates competency in affective communication and proper body mechanics. **What you will do** + Performs medical transport for patients to and from the Radiology Department. + Applies proper body mechanics while lifting, pulling, and pushing patients and equipment during patient transfer and transport. + Performs accurate documentation of patient medical records. + Provides excellent patient care. + Cover all sites as necessary. **Education Qualifications** + High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred **Experience Qualifications** + Previous experience with patient care in a hospital setting. **Skills and Abilities** + Excellent communication skills + Demonstrates excellent customer service. **Licenses and Certifications** + Basic Life Support Certified - American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire.
