Incumbent plans and develops weekly work schedules, multi-workweek schedules, and long-term schedules for the Bus and Passenger Van (Taxi) Operations areas.
Essential Duties & Job Functions\:• Prepares, reviews and completes work orders to ensure accurate charges are charged for work accomplished to the customer.
• Coordinates job details with supervisor or lead if necessary before scheduling the work.
• Coordinates closely with the customers to obtain work authorization, schedule work, assign priorities and coordinates access if required for bus and taxi runs.
• Provides ongoing status reports to management on work-load (OT/Manhour), work completion times, and work order status.
• Promotes quality and customer service.
• Prepare report for Transportation PAR when requested.
• Coordinates with Supervisor on changes to schedules and bus route breakdown information per customer requests.
• Expedites work to assure contractual requirements are met and to minimize downtime for customers.
• Prepares monthly reports per contract requirements (BSVE Mileage reporting, BSVE Ridership, CAC Monthly Inspections), facilities requests, and ensures proper notification to customers.
• Monitors and updates work progress and status in several databases (scheduling, GSA credit card and payment system and fleet database). Ensuring that contract required billing entries associated with the correct customers for services rendered are billed accurately.
• Assists in the training of new employees on transportation area functions of taxi service/bus operations/routes and vehicle inspections.
• Collects/Reviews and ensures daily driver’s logs are accurate and complete.
• Ability to sue two-way radio to assess activities and/or drivers’ whereabouts and status.
• Responsible for drill timeline during drills – account for timeline information back to drill director. Meeting with Govt. drill director prior to drill, recording of timeline record of start & stop times, employee locations, and POCs and meeting with Govt. drill director at conclusion of drill.
• Ability to work well under pressure. (May receive phone calls at all hours to include weekends and holidays which entails schedule changes of bus routes and employees.)
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
May perform work in other classifications when incidental work is necessary to the accomplishment of the work assignment. Significant work in another job classification may be required if accompanied by any wage adjustments applicable.

• Two (2) years’ experience scheduling.
• Relevant administrative experience, education or training may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
• Minimum one (1) year computer experience utilizing a Windows system.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Govt. CAC card for Govt. Maximo access.
• Four (4) years Excel or similar software experience highly desired.
• Experience working with MAXIMO database or comparable computer systems highly desirable
• Valid state Class B CDL with passenger endorsement and air brakes with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.
• U.S. Citizenship.
Preferred• Experience with scheduling for vehicle operations activities.
• Experience with transportation and preventative maintenance systems is highly desirable.
• Experience working with MAXIMO database or comparable computer systems highly desirable.
Rate of Pay\: $35.98/hour (Union position)
