The focus of this role is to build/deliver best in class results for a high-volume supply chain network, and take ownership of the transportation/logistics activities in the market. The key accountability is coordination of all transportation, import/export activities, and KPIs associated with transportation within the market. The role requires up to 25% travel and will be responsible for supporting new lanes, commercialization efforts, and indirect retail in the market. This position will report to the Fulfillment Manager responsible for the US.
Your ‘day to day’:
Responsible for building, maintaining, and improving the partnerships between PMI and freight, last mile delivery, and import/export suppliers in the USHold suppliers to strict SLA expectations, providing clear and concise verbal and written reports of performance, and action plans when neededActively engage with fulfillment and LSP teams to coordinate all transportation related tasks. Serve as escalation point to mitigate risk and resolve issues while maintaining a sense of urgencyDeep dives, monitors and reports out on KPIs for all transportation related activitiesImplement new operational improvements, initiatives, and drive projects to completionTrack learnings, compliance, and best practices to contribute to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Who we’re looking for:
College degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Management, or related field. Equivalent skills through proven experience also sufficientAt least 7 years experience in management of Transportation, Fulfillment, Supply Chain, Logistics, Management, Distribution, Warehousing and/or Import/Export required.Legally authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship
Annual Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000
