About the Role
As a Materials Specialist, you will support the maintenance of GE/Wabtec locomotives by managing inventory, shipping, receiving, and materials flow inside the customer’s repair facility. This is a customer-facing role where you will work directly with shop and management teams to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Pull and stage materials for shop use
Perform cycle counts and stockouts to maintain inventory accuracy
Forecast material needs and manage shipments
Operate forklifts and perform equipment inspections
Maintain safety, organization, and housekeeping standards
Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, climb, and work on uneven surfaces
Comfortable working overnight 12-hour shifts
Use of PPE required (hard hat, steel-toe boots, ear/eye protection)

Pay Details: $23.00 per hour
