There is currently one vacancy within the Transportation Department (8 hours per day, 5 days per week, 12 months per year). Please apply online at www.governmentjobs.com/careers/nmusd. BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Supervisor, Transportation Operations, plan, coordinate and schedule District bus routes and schedules; assign bus drivers to designated routes and special event trips; drive a school bus or other transportation vehicle as needed. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and three years of experience driving a bus including one year experience dispatching, planning and scheduling bus routes. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid Class A or B California Motor Vehicle Operator's license with passenger transportation, endorsement, "S" , and air brake endorsements. Valid California Special Driver Certificate valid for school buses. Valid California Department of Motor Vehicles medical certificate. Valid Current California Highway Patrol approved First Aid Card (if required on Special Certificate). Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate, Form MCSA-5876 Current Valid DL-51 Medical Card. Must have a current California Department of Motor Vehicles K-4 DMV H-6 printout to be submitted with the job application.
