Job Description


The Transportation Compliance Analyst plays a vital role in ensuring the consistent administration of contracts within the organization. This position collaborates closely with Commercial Contract Managers (CCM), Contract Administrators, Procurement, and Transportation Operations to oversee all phases of the contract cycle workflow. Responsibilities include vetting transportation service providers, drafting contracts, and facilitating execution, all while ensuring that assigned contracts align with company policies and procedures. The Analyst's attention to detail and commitment to compliance are essential for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the contract management process.


Responsibilities


Drafts compliant and error-free contracts in accordance with standards set by the Commercial Contract Managers (CCM).Manages the contract cycle workflow from initiation to execution.Maintains data and systems, monitors contract status, and identifies and communicates exceptions related to transportation service provider compliance. This includes monitoring Federal and State Operating Authority, Insurance, Safety Ratings, and certifications such as Hazardous Materials Certifications from relevant governmental and trade organizations.Validates the types, amounts, and quality of insurance coverage provided by carriers, ensuring compliance with carrier agreements, and proactively monitors coverage expirations while identifying trends and risks.


Required Education and Experience


High School/Secondary School Diploma or GED requiredProven ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.Strong capability to manage multiple tasks and requests simultaneously while meeting deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration with stakeholders and internal teams.Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.Previous experience with contracting AI software, such as Ironclad and/or Luminesce.
