Hourly rate: $17/hour + tips
Schedule: Thursday-Sunday, 2 PM - 12 AM


SUMMARY

Juniper Preserve is looking for a responsible, organized, and safety-conscious driver to join our team. In this role, the driver will pick up guests, residents, and in-house employees, and transport them between our property and various locations including the Redmond Airport, Bend Municipal Airport, and the surrounding Bend/Redmond area (as well as Mt. Bachelor in the winter). We’re looking for someone who has a proven track record of safe, skillful driving. The ideal candidate will enjoy being behind the wheel, seeing new places, and meeting new people while engaging in professional yet personalized small talk.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver guests and residents in a timely manner
Comply with all traffic laws and company safety regulations
Maintain a clean and operational vehicle
Refuel constantly
Clean interior and exterior of vehicle
Check mileage
Routinely bring down to Maintenance Building for oil changes/other inspections
Intake in-person transportation requests
Input transportation requests into the transportation log
Represent the company positively and professionally in interactions with guests, residents, and the general public
Gain a thorough understanding of the local area and the most efficient routes
Assist with other similar departments during down time (events–on-property transports, activities, community services, loss prevention, etc.)
Drive company vehicles or golf carts on occasion.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required

Must be over 21 years of age (insurance requirement)
Must have a valid driver’s license
Clean driving record for three years
Ability to drive for extended periods
Strong commitment to safety
Excellent navigational skills (experience using GPS)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic knowledge of Gmail and Google Suite
Proper radio communication and etiquette
Flexibility and adaptability to schedules and roles
Excellent time management and organizational skills

SKILLS
Required
Must be able to read and understand written and oral instruction in English.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
