As a Transport Supervisor, you will lead a small, dedicated team to ensure efficient daily operations of pick-ups and deliveries. You’ll oversee driver scheduling, routing, and performance, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, service excellence, and compliance. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced environment with strong collaboration across terminal and network teams. **Key Responsibilities** + Lead and model a strong safety-first culture, supporting H&S and food safety programs (HACCP, Cold Chain Assurance). + Supervise daily driver operations: dispatch, route optimization, and compliance with hours of service and maintenance schedules. + Coach and manage drivers for safety, service quality, and performance; oversee training, onboarding, and documentation. + Support office operations and customer service: prioritize daily tasks, monitor KPIs, and ensure service excellence. + Collaborate with internal teams to improve customer satisfaction, streamline processes, and support growth initiatives. + Maintain driver records, ensure regulatory compliance, and participate in Joint Health & Safety Committee meetings. + Support budget adherence, monitor performance reports, and manage office resources, supplies, and payables. + Champion continuous improvement and employee engagement across transportation and warehousing functions. **What You Bring** + 2+ years of supervisory experience in transportation, warehousing, or logistics. + Strong leadership and coaching skills with a collaborative and hands-on approach. + Proven ability to drive performance, improve processes, and lead change. + Excellent communication and customer service skills. + Strong organizational and analytical skills; ability to prioritize and problem-solve in a dynamic environment. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with dispatch systems and transportation tech (e.g., Truckmate) is a plus. + Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety compliance. + Commitment to health & safety and a passion for team and service excellence.
