✅WHAT YOU'LL DO

\n\nTake the Lead: Oversee our busy daily transport operations, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries to our customers\nInnovate & Optimise: Develop and implement transport strategies that enhance efficiency and drive success. Your ideas will help us stay ahead of the curve!\nEnsure Safety: Uphold the highest safety standards and compliance regulations, creating a safe and secure workplace for everyone.\nTeam Builder: Develop, engage and inspire your team, creating an environment where every colleague can do their best\nAnalyse & Improve: Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement. Your analytical skills will help us deliver excellence every day!\nHave clear understanding of Objectives and KPI's applicable to your role and your team\nCollate all feedback against plan in the daily operations log for use in plan/do/review calls\nResponsible for full and effective daily brief/debrief for DHL, agency and sub-contractor drivers\nEnsuring all drivers are appropriately trained and familarised with both operations and equipment - (only where there is no regional site compliance teams)\nAccident and breakdown management via DHL standard operating procedures\nOwnership and accountability for driver induction, training and qualification are up to date for drivers reports - (only where there is no regional site compliance teams)\nTo schedule, prepare and conduct quarterly 1-2-1's with all direct reports in line with OMS guidelines\nManage disciplinary and grievance in accordance with Company Policy and Procedures\n\n

\n\nLogistic Industry and supervisory level - essential \nTransport Management experience - essential \nTransport legal compliance\nCPC Preferred but not essential \nCan lead from the front, winning hearts and minds and providing coaching and mentorship\nHold an International CPC Qualification \nHave excellent organisational and problem-solving skills\nAren't afraid to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in when needed\n\n
