The primary focus of the Transport Planner is the preparation, execution and monitoring of local delivery as well as export shipment planning. The role’s objective is to ensure that all shipments are booked in a timely manner, with orders delivered on time and in full.

Reporting To: Warehouse & Logistic Manager
Key responsibilities Liaise with Supply Planner and Customer Care team to support customer orders. Liaise with Production Planner to ensure inventory sufficient for delivery. Liaise with Warehouse for the issuing of shipping documents, finished goods transfer, monitoring the processing of container loading and dispatch from system. Liaise with freight forwarder for the movement of containers; provide shipping documents (Delivery note, commercial Invoice) for shipment. Coordinate with Quality for COA (Certificate of Analysis) as per shipment required and ensure stock release update in system by quality. Creation and changes of delivery note, commercial invoice, entry of shipment cost, not billed report on daily, weekly & month end closing. Liaise with transporter for truck booking. Generate shipment completion report. Qualifications and skills Preferably a recognised Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent. Preferably a minimum of 3-4 years’ working experience in logistics / shipping / export function. Must have experience in exports within GCC. Good command of English. Good working knowledge of MS Office application skills. SAP experience is a plus. Possess strong planning and analytical skills, must be able to take complex issues and break down actions for resolutions and work within tight deadlines. A solid communicator who can build strong relationships with stakeholders and is not afraid to challenge decisions when see better alternatives or potential pitfalls. Possess strong business acumen with deep Operational insight as well as an open nature and collaborative mind-set that enable working cohesively with people from different functions and levels. A motivated and driven individual with the core competencies required to succeed in a demanding and challenging working environment. Good problem solving and decision-making ability to enhance workflow efficiencies and effectiveness.
